Forsaken Hero announces new single

Forsaken Hero has released yet another uplifting song, accompanied by a music video, featuring one of CCM's well-know – Rico Thomas, of NewSong.

On Friday, Aug. 3, Forsaken Hero's sibling-duo Casey and Emily Price released “Open Up Your Eyes,” a rocking single featuring Thomas, whom the prices recently shared the stage with when Forsaken Hero opened for CCM legends, NewSong on June 30.

“Providing guitar on Casey's project was an honor,” said Thomas. “He has always been so complimentary towards my work and NewSong that I felt like this would mean the world to him. As I prayed about it, there was no doubt in my mind that I was supposed to do this. I rarely get the opportunity to play in this vein and get featured as an artist in the studio rather than my own projects. I really enjoyed the process and having free reign to express my self. Casey Rocks!”

“Open Up Your Eyes” is currently being streamed on Spotify and other media outlets. Forsaken Hero is also scheduled to play with Building 429 at the Washington County Fair in Abingdon, Va. On Sept. 13.

"We are so excited to be back at the Washington County Fair headlining stage two again and so excited to get to see our friends in Building 429 rocking stage one!” said Casey Price.
