More 2,000 years ago, a Man who was fully human and fully God was arrested, beaten, poked, prodded, beaten, scratched, abuse and nailed to a cross for you and I. Did you know that?
That Mans name was Jesus Christ.
As you read the verse up top, John 3:16, Everlasting life sounds like forever huh? Well It is forever. In fact, life with Jesus Christ is never ending. Just to add to it, God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit existed before anything else existed. Humans, the earth, space, angels, anything. You might say “How can someone exist before anything?” Well, that’s the thing. How? We don’t know. God is God. On earth in the natural realm, we base everything off of time. Our days, our schedules, even the music you listen to. There is no measure of time to God. Therefore, because we measure everything by time, we can’t wrap around finger around everlasting life.
Hebrews 1:5 – “For which of the angels did He ever say, You are My Son; today I have become Your Father, or again, I will be His Father. and He will be My Son?”
God chose Jesus Christ, His only Son, to die for everyone’s, the whole population of the past and of the future and of the present, sin.
“How do I become saved?”
A – Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior (Jesus Christ!), repent, or turn away from your sins, and ask Forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, He [God] is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
B – Believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for the sins of the world including YOU! Look at John 3:16 at the top of the page!
C – Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of the work and GO TELL THE WORLD!!! Roman 10:13 says, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Consider this: If you were the only person on this earth, God still would have sent Jesus Christ to die for you.
There is nothing that can stop you from being saved. **Anyone can be saved.**
Convict? Anyone
Drug Abuser? Anyone
Porn addict? Anyone
Atheist? Anyone
Homosexual? Anyone
Drunkard? Anyone
Murderer? Anyone
Thief? Anyone
We are all sinners in need of saving.
Sure you might be ridiculed. You might be hated for believing in Jesus Christ but get this, “Christians right now are getting destroyed and killed for believing in Jesus Christ and we’re not even willing to be embarrassed for Him.” – I cannot remember who said this.
John 15:18-20 – “If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of it, the world hates you. Remember the word I spoke to you: ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will also keep yours.”
