For a band consisting of only two people, Forsaken Hero has made quite the statement in the last year. Casey Price and this band of faith recorded with Thousand Foot Krutch's very own, Andrew Welch for Forsaken Hero's "I'm Right There." Forsaken Hero also opened for one of Christian Rock's biggest bands, Stryper and up and coming groups, Random Hero and Ilia. Casey Price and his sister Emily are not strangers to making great connections. Brooks Holt, formerly of We As Human, came on board and tracked drums for Forsaken Hero's newest song "Broken Charade."
Working with Producer Jeff Davies,"Broken Charade," off the upcoming album "We Don't Need Another Hero" is the perfect song for anyone who enjoys listening to Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet or RED. Mastering the album is Petra's very own, John Lawry. It's definitely a good fight song to help you lift yourself out of any sorrow and fight through the pain. The introduction starts off with some smooth synth building up to a crunchy guitar riff. The thing I love about the guitar in this song is the tone.

The attack is strong and the presence sticks with it. Even more interesting is the warm, choppy bass lines behind the guitar, played by Nicholas Lower. Muffled and distorted bass is rock's best friend. The imaginative orchestration of the music itself put a brilliant twist to Forsaken Hero's playlist.
Brooks Holt, being know for his drum covers on YouTube and rocking out with We As Human, did what he does best. The double bass added character to the song and the amount of thrashing symbols kept the beat alive.
Right before the end, Jeff Davies offers a wicked, in-your-face solo. The bright lead was extremely original and was personally one of the best solos I have ever heard. The ending of "Broken Charade" was very well-organized and choppy leaving me wanting just a little bit more. The quality of the recording was very good. The balance between guitar, bass, drums and vocals was perfect. If I had to change just one thing, I would have added a little bit more presence to the drums.
As a personal friend of Casey, I would like to add how dedicated he is to creating music not just for the fans but for the glory of God almighty. Forsaken Hero's chances of climbing and topping CCM charts in the future are very well alive and possible. Forsaken Hero will be opening for Stryper once again on the To Hell With The Devil 30th Anniversary Tour on November 5th, 2016 in Hazard, Kentucky.
