ARIAPHONIC

From Left to Right: Jacob Simpson, Zach Puckett, Kate Puckett and Thomas Crabtree

As a dedicated fan and listener to the music industry, I must say that sometimes, some songs become too generic both lyrically and instrumentally. I do believe that Ariaphonic will be able to change boring, generic writing and bring a more original approach. If you're looking for the next best thing, this is it. Fairly new to the scene, Ariaphonic showcased what they're made of when they released their two newest singles "White Lies" and "Easy."

Within the first 90 seconds of listening to "White Lies," I was already Ariaphonic's biggest fan. The mixture of the swinging, clean guitar riffs and the engaging synthesizers is very tuneful and stays true to genre of Ariaphonic. The drums behind it all keeps the tempo flowing very fluently. Of course, the music itself is what makes a song. It sets the mood for the lyrics which is one the most important attributes of the meaning. The lyrical structure of "White Lies" was very well-thought out and extremely interesting. Like an atmosphere of a concert makes a good show, music carrying words and meaning makes an amazing song.

"Easy" reminds me strongly of something Britt Nicole or Hollyn would write. To me, the song tells the story of pursuing some kind of hope relentlessly and finding it without giving up. The memorable chorus and dramatic bridge is what makes this song amazing. The simple, yet melodious tune gives off a futuristic feel with ambient chords which makes for a very relaxed, smooth hit.

The very talented Kate Puckett was the center of attention. Through the strong and heartfelt lyrics being sung, I could hear the passion and determination in her voice. Zach Puckett on the drums was very creative and punctual as well as the guitarist and bassist.

The quality of the recording was top-notch. The mix was balanced with the right amount of presence for the bass and drums behind the synth and vocals. Listening to the singles multiple time, Ariaphonic holds an unbelievable amount of talent. Applauding them for the variety of topic, I'm very anxious and excited to hear what Ariaphonic has to offer in the future.
